I’m Jenn Prentice, a proud wife, boy mom and college professor who loves teaching people just
about anything. I’m also a strong two on the Enneagram, which means that at my worst,
I’m a serial people pleaser and at my best, I want to help and encourage as many people as I can.
At 33, my people pleasing (sometimes perfectionist) tendencies got out of control, and
I found myself at a crossroads. I knew I couldn’t keep doing what I was doing: overcommitting
myself personally and professionally then resenting the fact that I never had
time for the things that mattered most to me--so I started down a different path.
At 34, I drew a line in the sand. This Is Thirty Four is the chronicle of my journey--and the journeys of
other amazing women--to find freedom from the “everyday chaos” of life and time for what matters through managing our minds, possessions, time and relationships better.
My hope is that each post on This Is Thirty Four will inspire you to keep your mind away from self-destructive thinking, value your time and possessions, and put people first. If these sound like things you'd like to do more of, then I hope you'll join the tribe.
